My Story

My journey began with uncertainty about my future. After completing my A-levels, I chose an apprenticeship over university, avoiding student debt and gaining hands-on experience. The apprenticeship, in engineering at a reputable company, offered good pay and great colleagues. Yet, despite the stability, I felt unfulfilled. I wanted more.

I began searching for a purpose to guide my life, and surprisingly, I found it in an unexpected place—an Instagram reel about Stoicism. Intrigued, I began exploring this philosophy that kept appearing on my feed. My curiosity led me to purchase How to Think Like a Roman Emperor: The Stoic Philosophy of Marcus Aurelius by Donald Robertson. The book captivated me, sparking a deep interest that drove me to buy five more books on Stoicism before even finishing the first.

Through these books, I discovered Stoicism’s profound perspectives on how to think about the world. For the first time, I felt a sense of purpose in learning. However, learning alone wasn’t enough. Seneca, the ancient Roman Stoic philosopher, articulated my feelings perfectly: “part of my joy in learning is that it puts me in a position to teach; nothing, however outstanding and however helpful, will ever give me any pleasure if the knowledge is to be for my benefit alone.” This quote resonated deeply, inspiring me to share what I had learned.

At this point, I had already been training consistently at the gym for eight years. By combining my passion for physical fitness with Stoic principles, I realized I could help others improve both their bodies and minds. This realization became the foundation of my mission and the creation of this community.

I hope this glimpse into my story helps you understand the kind of person I am and the purpose behind my work—to help others become the best versions of themselves in every aspect of life.
